We are looking for interns who want to gain experience in the world of advertising by working with the team at Small Army. Along with basic administrative tasks, working side-by-side with the Account Management team on client projects will provide invaluable insight into the many layers of a successful agency.
What You Need
Candidates must possess a can-do attitude and be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. A strong understanding of social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, YouTube, WordPress/Tumblr) is necessary for the intern position. Description
Small Army loves to work with copywriters who want to create things that have never been thought of or seen before. Knowing everyday media (TV, print, radio, outdoor, web) a given, they must love to create non-ad ideas that will engage and motivate viewers in unconventional ways - online and off. Here, there are no boundaries. Must have 3-5 years in the advertising/marketing industry; not only be able to think big, but have the ability to concisely and effectively convey those ideas through simple execution. Must also be able to create engaging long copy, since this is often part of the mix for a successful integrated campaign.
What You Need
- Strong writing and conceptual skills
- Interested in new technology and mediums
- 3-5 years experience - agency background preferred
- A great portfolio and a desire to succeed required
- A positive attitude and an all-around good person a must

Description
Small Army loves to work with art directors who want to create things that have never been thought of or seen before. Knowing everyday media (TV, print, radio, outdoor, web) a given, they must love to create non-ad ideas that will engage and motivate viewers in unconventional ways - online and off. Here, there are no boundaries.
Must have 3-5 years in the advertising/marketing industry; not only be able to think big, but have the ability to concisely and effectively convey those ideas through simple execution. The Art Director must understand conceptual thinking and be able to translate core ideas into concepts that meet the client’s strategic communication goals.
What You Need
- Contribute to the concept development, design and execution of promotional materials
- Can go beyond just design; can think conceptually and can brainstorm ideas within a larger team
- Have a broad understanding of typography, photography and design in theory and practice
- Possess the ability to create brand-appropriate design across multiple touch points
- Demonstrate versatility in pairing design direction with communication in a cohesive form
- Possess advanced knowledge of Indesign, Photoshop & Illustrator as it relates to design and the technical production of work intended for print
- Fluent in today’s technologies and media with respect to design and marketing
- 3-5 years of experience
