What You Need

The ideal candidate will have:

Description

Full-time or Part-time

We are looking for interns who want to gain experience in the world of ad agency video editing and post production by working with the team at Small Army.  Along with basic administrative tasks, working side-by-side with the post production team on client projects will provide invaluable insight into the many layers of a successful agency.

 

What You Need

Candidates must possess a can-do attitude and be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.  A strong understanding of video editing tools (at least one of these apps: FCP7, FCPX, Premiere.  Bonus points for knowing Photoshop and AfterEffects) and the Mac operating system is necessary for the intern position.  These positions are perfect for college students or recent graduates interested in exploring the world of advertising.  Please note, this is an unpaid internship. Small Army is a full-service advertising agency that believes the best communications come from the heart. With that in mind, we are seeking a Heart to help us craft stories that tap into universal truths and shared experiences. The ideal candidate should be a functioning heart with two atria and two ventricles. Previous Heart experience required.

 

What You Need

- Pumping blood through the circulatory system to deliver oxygen and other nutrients.

- Removing metabolic waste.

- Quickly adapting to changes in external stimuli.

- Not stopping, like ever. 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 5 - 10 years of being a heart.

- At least a basic knowledge of the limbic system.

- A track record of going with your gut and just doing what feels right.

- A resting pulse no greater than 54 - 59 BPM

digital production intern

Description

We are looking for interns who want to gain experience in the world of advertising by working with the team at Small Army.  Along with basic administrative tasks, working side-by-side with the Digital team on client projects will provide invaluable insight into the many layers of a successful agency.

This individual will primarily support the Digital Production team in the creation and maintenance of interactive web sites and management of online media production.

Candidates must possess a can-do attitude and be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.  A strong understanding of social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, WordPress/Tumblr) is necessary for the intern position.  These positions are perfect for college students or recent graduates interested in exploring the world of advertising.  Please note, this is an unpaid internship. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Quality Assurance testing for websites and online advertising
  • Management of copywriting, content curation and proofreading
  • Assisting with asset management (organizing digital files, populating metadata, etc.)
  • Creating sitemaps and organizing content
  • Gather, review, repurpose and traffic assets to other team members

What You Need

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong initiative and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines for daily deliverables
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Drupal, or other content management systems encouraged but not required (but willing to learn)
  • An interest in digital technologies

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Pursuing a degree in college or university
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
  • Hard working and willing to learn
  • Attention to detail is a must

TIME REQUIREMENTS

  • 24 hours a week (or more)
