In this role you'll report directly to the Media Director and support execution, measurement and reporting for all digital marketing efforts - seeing campaigns through from start to finish. In addition to using your digital skills you will have the opportunity for exposure to traditional media planning and buying.

The Ad Operations Analyst will be the key point of contact between internal client teams, creative and third party vendors to ensure the timely launch and proper execution of advertising campaigns.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Traffic all creative from the campaign management system into 3rd party ad server.
  • QA all creative files and ads. Coordinate with creative and/or internal media teams to ensure creative files meet specs.
  • Distribute site placement tags and creative assets to publishers.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for publishers to create reporting logins, provide assistance with running reports, and assist in investigating reporting discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and client in implementation of conversion tags.
  • Work with team to process documentation.
  • Keep up to date with traffic and media industry trends.
  • Consult with media teams/client regarding advertising technology solutions based on client marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal development team in building out internal tools to streamline ad trafficking and reporting processes.
  • Work successfully within a team as well as independently.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience with third-party ad-serving systems Doubleclick.
  • Experience with rich media solutions Doubleclick Pointroll, Flashtalking, etc.
  • Knowledge of Flash, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Proven ability to work successfully both within a team and independently.
  • Effectively prioritize work and manage time and projects.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Possess advanced analytical skillset.

Description

We are looking for interns who want to gain experience in the world of advertising by working with the team at Small Army.  Along with basic administrative tasks, working side-by-side with the Digital team on client projects will provide invaluable insight into the many layers of a successful agency.

This individual will primarily support the Digital Production team in the creation and maintenance of interactive web sites and management of online media production.

Candidates must possess a can-do attitude and be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.  A strong understanding of social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, WordPress/Tumblr) is necessary for the intern position.  These positions are perfect for college students or recent graduates interested in exploring the world of advertising. Experience with WordPress would be great but is not required.

Most important is a willingness to learn!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Quality Assurance testing for websites and online advertising
  • Management of copywriting, content curation and proofreading
  • Assisting with asset management (organizing digital files, populating metadata, etc.)
  • Creating sitemaps and organizing content
  • Gather, review, repurpose and traffic assets to other team members
  • Work in WordPress to manage client websites adn content

What You Need

SKILLS REQUIRED
